Darlene McW diaper sweater 8-06.jpg (175254 bytes)

Darlene works really hard to create her beautiful sweaters.  Lets just say, the yarn gets a good workout, but the job gets done!

Nancy Eyster blanket 8-06.jpg (70435 bytes)

Nancy enjoyed working on this cuddly soft afghan for a baby gift.  Wish I was having a baby!

Susie Buckmyer sweater 8-06.jpg (117007 bytes)

Susie didn't believe Beth when she said "trust me, it will fit".  See, she doesn't lie!

Brenda afghan.jpg (98684 bytes)

Brenda & I worked together to pick out these fantastic colors to make her daughter an afghan for Christmas.  I sure wish I was her daughter this year!

Sam1.jpg (66405 bytes)Sam comes to visit us from Baltimore.  He's an amazing knitter.  All of his designs are from the top of his head - no pattern involved.  Designs range from a ski slope to outerspace to the Capital building which he finished this year for the 4th of July.  His designs are well worth seeing.

RuthThome.jpg (30534 bytes)

Ruth is also an amazing knitter.  She modeled this lovely vest for us this spring at the Maryland Sheep and Wool Festival. Some of the yarn was purchased from us last fall.  She even incorporated some of my hand spun Alpaca in it.

icelandic1.jpg (31651 bytes)We've held several classes in two-color / icelandic knitting last winter.  icelandic2.jpg (22966 bytes) Teaching them has been the most fun I've had in a long time.  Everyone's sweater's turned out great.  These girls would tellicelandic3.jpg (26497 bytes) you that it's not as hard as it looks!

feltmitt.jpg (31179 bytes)

This is Kim & she is modeling her felted mittens.  She used a strand of Lamb's Pride Worsted with a strand of Handpaint Originals - both by Brown Sheep.  The pattern is AC-17 by Fiber Trends.

Ali scarf.JPG (12937 bytes)

Ali is one of our young knitters.  She was getting ready for Winter early!
